I have been using emule plus since version 1e with no problems. I was getting max download rates of up to 105 KB/s with and average of 60 KB/s under 1g. When 1h came out I upgraded and after being connected for over 8 hours I never had an download rate over 5 KB/s. I went back to 1g and my download rates soared back to previous averages. I eagerly waited for 1i because I was unable to search and connect to some servers using the older 1g version. So now 1i is out and I have the same problem. When using 1i my download rates never get above 8 KB/s.

I am using a Athalon processor at 2.2GHZ running Windows XP Pro. I have a cable modem and have the proper ports open. When connecting I get a High ID. People are uploading from me at whatever rate I set my limit to.

What can I do to get my download rate back up short of going back to 1g?

tbh i doubt its settings, but they would be nice (and useful) nevertheless.

I think you should be more patient. Download speed increese days after days and it depends also on what you are downloading and how much uploading.

As has been mentioned many times here, these versions implement secure credits so you'll have to build some credit before speeds will pick up again.
