Everytime I switch the "max connect in 5 sec" value to other then 5 sec, I get this message:
Even with a value of 7 or 8 times per 5 sec I keep getting the bann message. Perhaps this MOD is a little paranoic? |

maybe flux is more sensitive to connection-attempts that could be... (i rarely get those msg from any mod)
but your "max connections per 5 sec" has nothing to do with it - it's the maximum for "all" connections (not to one client) set it higher >20 to be able to contact more sources and to lower your "too many connections", gettin better dl-speed This post has been edited by SyruS: Aug 14 2003, 20:52 |

Mmm, so it's a coincidence, because the messages started just when I decided to tune up the max connections value, never before with the default 5 connections.

isn't 20 the default value??? has always been for me anyway... (i think)... What i thinkk you should look at is how often you contact the other source... not how many u contact at once... (: But as you can't change how fast/often you connect/ask in + (well i can't find it anyway) there shouldn't be a problem... (-: is this with every fusion? or just one guy?? because you can set how many connection attempts that are ok within XX minutes b4 banning.. maybe this guy has set this value very low?? just a thought.. (: |
