Hello,

Since 2 years, I used to take emule + to get edk files.

Unfortunately, i changed my usb modem and replace them by a routeur

My nat, port forwarding etc are ok and emule is in high id

My problem is that my dl is null or very low ... After 15min, my emule+ dl with my usb modem. Now it takes over 2hours and i never dl ...

My sp2 is patched to 500 connections ...

Here is screenshots. Could you advise me for the settings. I read the faq and change my configuration and nothing is changing up to now.

I have a 1mbits/256 line

Session ratio : +- 110/1

Thanks a lot and sorry my english is bad.

Can you add some screenshots of how you set up your NAT and Firewall settings in your router?

Max Connections is number of open connections at any one time... Set that to 200, since most routers only support 256 connections and you want to leave some room for other programs..

Max Per 5 Seconds is how many connections that can be processed within 5 seconds.. Set it to 20 to avoid the line to be flooded..

And set other ports. 4662 and 4672 are commonly throttled by ISPs (like 8080 and 8090). Also remember the second port is UDP, not TCP as you set in your router, so you're missing some server responses and source exchanges. No wonder you have bad download speeds. tongue.gif

Don't forget to change it first in the router, then the client and then restart it as port changes (in the client) only work with a restart.

Another question, you have an static IP (from local network) in your computer, don't you?

You should have an static (local network) IP so the router rules will work always. If not DHCP, that you have enabled, will assign your computer a dynamic IP and the rules won't work for that new IP. I think you're already doing that but just was confirming.

ok it works better.

I changed somme settings.

Coud you tell me your advise about these changes :

Sources Max per files : 400

Eliminate highest Qr: enable

Max Connections: 200

in 5sec: 35

It works since 50min but is it the best settings or do you change anything else ???

Thanks a lot.

PS: I made a link from my site ( http://www.mxforum.be ) to emuleplus.tk biggrin.gif

Do you have a router? Most budget routers have an internal limit of 256 connections.
