The official client 0.46c has this cool feature where you can see who is currently banned from your computer. It's in a very readable GUI format. It's interesting to know which bad guys are hitting your computer, how often and if it corresponds to certain files to know if they are tracking them for specific clients. I find this information very useful and almost enough reason to switch back. Almost.

If you don't know how to enable it in eMule+, then for sure it's a good reason.

If you are trying to engender support for your p2p mod of choice, this isn't the way to go about it -- acting self-righteous. In the spirit of being an admin, how about some help? I'm not some newbie to p2p apps. I've used them all, even a lot of the mods out there. But, in this particular app, I looked for quite a while through the preferences and couldn't find any option to open the filter and look at it (through the program, obviously, not through a text-editor). And, just for your reference, I'm not using the built-in filter because it doesn't compare well to the one created using Blocklist.

Perhaps if there was better documentation, and by that I mean where I don't have to comb through the entire forum to find directions on a pretty important feature of the program, I wouldn't have posted this request. I read the FAQs, the Preferences "help" section, and even did a search in the forum for "IP Filter". If it's this hard to figure out, maybe that's reason enough for a change in a future release.

In this case don't start with the first post stating "if you don't implement it I will go to play with other kids."

Disable Preferences->Logs->Do not log countermeasures (if enabled) and you will see every good guy in debug log.
The list of the whole filter is not implemented in eMule+. Also don't rely much on that information as after merging of consecutive IP ranges information in that list is not correct all the time.
