Hy guys,
a few minutes ago, emule 1.f crashed... This was the first time I saw a dialog box reporting this to me. Well, I have ISDN dial up connection, but only 2kbps up and 6kbps down enabled, to avoid ISP disconnections (they are filtering heavy users).... Well, Emule was only uploading, while I was in users queue... I tried to chat with a community user and the connection failed, as usual... So I left emule in that page opened... Started surfing a while, and when I noticed, from Netgrid Netmonitor that some download traffic started, I decided to see from who/what it should be... actually I had only one file stopped and only one waiting... I quickly opened emule window. When I clicked the emule icon (in windows bottom taskbar), it opened ok.... So I clicked the CLOSE BUTTON IN chat page to close that page and return back to TRANSFER page, then BOOMM.... That dialog box appeared and staid there for a while, until emule died and finally closed at all... So, that is it... No file lost, but a rehash was done when starting emule again... Fredİ |

Please pack the dmp file with an archiver (ZIP, RAR, ACE...) and send it to: eMulePlus@yahoo.com.sg with eMule Plus version in the subject line and info on how it accured.
Thanks |

Sorry, but is the dump file the debug.log? If yes, I have seen it and has no entry about the crash...
If not, where is the dump file? Also, I noticed that the ONLY different thing I did in that emule session was STOP one file and remain downloading the other... AN UPDATE: Well, the file I was downloading these night has finally finished (only 5MB)... but emule frozen at the completion operation... I hit control alt del and closed emule... Then I started emule again and file was reported, in log, as finished... no problem with file, at all... Weird... and the STOPPED file, at the new session, was no more stopped, but waiting (I had not connected emule to servers)... This option, I believe, I did not enable it... Fredİ |

when u r using some win9x there is no support for dmp-files. if the message began with "EXCEPTION!..." the main information would be the filename.cpp and linenumber in it.

Hy Syrus,
I think I found a bug, cause I have found a pattern... Today the same crash happened... that is how it appeared. I was connected in a server, then I saw a emule user that I really needed to talk with... I started a chat (actually, I tried to , but chat failed)... I send him a message, then imediately emule reported FAILED... the same time my ISDN connection closed... I left the chat page opened (this is important)!! Then reconnected my ISDN, clicked connection button and emule connected to A DIFFERENT server...(this is important)!! I came back to chat page, then tried to send that user the same message... It was not able to find him (another FAILED message)... So I clicked CLOSE button and BOOOOMMMM.. Same crash, same message!!! Well, definitely there is a pattern here. A bug exist when you change server or connection close and CHAT page (connection) was left opened... Can you reproduce these procedures? Thanks in advance. Hope I helped. Fredİ |

Some users are reporting that they have noticed crashes after autochange of their Dynamic-IP. That surely demand making new connection to server. Someting similar happend to me yesterday and I'm shure that I have many message windows opened before |
