QUOTE (readme.txt)
COMPILING THE SOURCECODE:
-------------------------

The sourcecode of eMule Plus is availible as seperate download.
You need Microsoft© Visual C++ .NET (7.0 or 7.1) to compile eMule Plus.

- Unzip the sources (with subdirs) into a new folder
- Download the additional libs file or follow the instructions to
  get the other libs needed by plus (ie. Crypto++)
- Open the eMule.vcproj Visual Studio Project
- Select "Release" or "Debug" build (2002 to compile on VS 7.0)
  in the solution configuration manager
- Build the solution. That's it!
- If the compile was successful, the eMule.exe is either in the
  \Debug or \Release directory ("Debug 2002 or Release 2002" for VS 7.0)

can't see your pictures

the latest sources from CVS use a new build of zlib that will not be available for public until 1l release

for 1k sources u need to download libs package (v2) at :
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=71866

follow instructions that are in the different readmes and u could compile the sources well

BTW is there some errors when u run the downloaded build ?

could you please try that :

when e+ is closed edit preferences.ini and set or change the following values:

[eMule]
Verbose=1
LogToFile=1
BugReport=1
CMNotLog=1

i did use the libs.package-v2
i dont know y anyone cant see the pics but anyway the first one says
"Failed to initialize cryptokeys – secure ident disabled"

And the second ones is just a Microsoft visual c++ debug library box that gives that is a Debug Assertion failed! And gives the path c:\program files\emule\emule.exe and says that file: cmdtarg.cpp line: 48 with the buttons abort retry and ignore

thanks

for the pics : don't use spaces in their name ....

the first should because of a bad use of the crypto lib package
read carefully the readme.txt in the crypto dir (in libs.package v2)

the second error is a known one that occurs when u close the program in debug mode when debugging it with VC it is just an ASSERT so it isn't really dangerous and the program will work without any erros in release build

i know this debug assert since i have entered the ePlus team but i haven't find the reason why this ASSERT fail ...

I don't know your setup, but NORMALLY port 8080 is for HTTPS and port 80 for HTTP...

You use port 8080 and HTTP... Maybe that's the problem??

Sorry, but https used by default port 443. Port 8080 is mostly used for private proxies/webserver or something similar.
