I have a HomeNet with 2 Pc´s, both conneted with the Router of my ADSL connexion. The 2 with emulePlus 1h.

I didnt have problems when i had only 1 Pc, I had good speed.

But now with 2 Pc´s my speed is slower than 2Kb/sec (never better).

I have different settings in the 2, because one is very fast and the other is very slow (but with the slow pc i was downloading with 15kb/sec usually before to connect the other).

I have LanCast desactivated, but when i activate it, it dont go faster.

Something that I forgot??? Change port, activate or desactivate UDP?? Other thing that you must to do when you have a LocalNet???

THX for answers, and to do this program possible. biggrin.gif

Do you have a HighID ?
Did you forward the important ports in your router ?

Make sure both machines are fresh installs otherwise your clients may be getting banned for credit stealing.

Whats your overall upload capacity? ie are you attempting to upload more than your line allows?

couldn't he get banned/blacklisted for having 2 mules running with the same ip?

if he doesn't download the same files on both, that shouldn't be a problem.. but??!?

I think i have High ID (sorry im newbe blink.gif , and dont know were can see it), because i dont recieve a message from server saying that i have LowID.

I have 2 Privates ID for each PC, but YES, i have only one Public IP, that could be the problem. If is that the case if I close one emule, the other must work well, right? I will try it today but I think thats no the prob. ( I am downloading different files in each PC).

My capacity is 25 kb/sec. but the most that i obtain is 4 or 5 (in total with the 2 PC´s).

I dont understand the question "netwolf", the router works perfectly in both PC´s when i use other programs.

I have Firewall, but it isnt a problem (only sometimes), I think, because when I had only one it went without problems...

Sorry if dont understand something, my english isnt very good...

Thx all for your time...

most likely your settings arent right. Not my area dealing with routers, lancast and such. Try not asking to create too many connections or too many connections per 5 sec.

This night I only had 1 PC working (the other in off).

I changed my connections to 20 per sec, (the new PC supports 300), and it continues equal. I will try getting down to 10 per sec, but I think that isnt the prob, because it goes equal with 300 than with 20.

More suggestions??? I´m desesperated!!

Use different ports on the different emules and be sure to forward the ports to the desired local ip to avoid confusion betwean them.

You will get banned if you are both machines are listening on the same port on the same ip address. Or two machines on different ports have the same userhash.

Aside from that, all your important settings...

Upload
Max Conn
conn in 5 seconds

need to be more than half the values of when u run one pc on both machines. Two Emules will produce more overhead that one emule.

Good luck

-First PC:

Nick: tooodotuyo

Port 4662 UD 4672

Conn. in 5 sec: 5

-Second PC:

Nick:tooodotuyo2

Port: 4662 UD 4672

Conn. in 5 sec: 10

1 thing, I tried to changed my port (like 5726 UD 7890 in the second PC) and it wasn´t solution, and what is that of userhash??

No it is, it will take time though, why do you say it isnt the solution?

Both emules MUST be listening on different ports, otherwise you will get banned by other clients for userhash hopping and/or connecting too fast .

Try this on your second client

TCP 4663
UDP 4673

Also we need more settings! tongue.gif How fast are both clients set to upload/download and what speed is your cable connection (up and down)?

I changed my ports to this: 4662 UDP 4673 in one PC and 4663 UDP 4673 in the other.

With this specification I tried 2 things:

-To have the two downloading, result 2kb/sec in each other (tooooooo slow).

-To have only the second (4663 UDP 4673) downloading and the other in off, result the PC download at 2kb/sec. mad.gif

Here go my specifications:

ADSL 256/128 connexion with Router (both PC´s connected to it). I dont know the speed but I think is 25 Kb/sec, and I know that I can download at 25 kb/sec and upload at 15 kb/sec, at least.

This settings for both PC´s:

-I have HighIP (my arrows in green).

-I have 5 connexions per sec (I thing this is sufficient to work well..).

-Size of Qeue:2500

-Unchecked all options in the Connexion menu except "show excess of widthband"

And of course with this specifications in the two PC´s the two goes toooooooooo slow.
Why?

Are this settings correct?? Must change something?? Must do anything???

HELP!!!!

udp ports also have to be diffrent.
u cant expect high downrates out of the blue anyway.
further be sure not to go over 13k up in the sum.
