Hi,

emuleplus-1.2c had "clickable" urls in the Log and ServerInfo tabs (eg. emuleplus.info).

This is not available anymore in 1.2d.

I don't know if this has been reported elsewhere or if it's a known bug/feature.

Works for me. wink.gif

Which firewall are you using? I seem to remember that Zone Alarm prevented applications from opening browser windows. thumbsup.gif Or maybe it was some other security related application. Check the configuration of whatever you are using.

It's not that I can't access remote sites. It's just the fact that, for example, the http://emuleplus.info url on the Serverinfo tab is not "clickable", ie. it does not "shellExec" a browser window with that url. It doesn't display the typical blue hyperlink and the mouse pointer doesn't change.

It's not a network/firewall issue but more of a problem displaying [ url ] within the tabs.

If you want I can send you a screenshot.

By the way, the "Click HERE to check if a new version is available" works (opens browser window), but the line above which says "eMule Pus v. 1.2d [ http://emuleplus.info ]" doesn't (it's not clickable).

Please post screenshots and tell us more about your system. Appears that scripting is not installed or disabled.

What is your operating system?

Can you see clickable links in the messages pane? Try sending a message containing a link.

I'll post more info when I get back to my PC in a couple of days but in the meantime I can say that it's the same PC where I installed 1.2c and 1.2d.

I made a simple test:
I downloaded the 1.2c and 1.2d installers from emuleplus.info.
I installed 1.2c and the [ urls ] in the tabs worked fine.
Then uninstalled 1.2c and installed 1.2d.
The [ urls ] within brackets in the tabs did not work.
Uninsalled 1.2d and installed 1.,2c again.
The [ urls ] worked again.
And so on...

I'm on a Windows XP pro SP2.

This issue was fixed a week ago. It will be available in the next version.

As you build it yourself, do the following change to resolve it:
GetTextLengthEx(GTL_PRECISE)
-->
GetTextLengthEx(GTL_PRECISE | GTL_NUMCHARS)
