Please only 1i users reply in this thread.

If you spot your download starts to drop and remains consistently low from that point onwards, could you state in here, I want to confirm that there is something iffy with it, because me and I think one other member has noticed this, but the others haven't.

Its important that you know its not because of your files or settings, but could potentially be something with the download system.

Things which i have noticed apart from the constant low speed is that:
the indicator for file progress eventually become black throughout. And there is only maybe a handful of red and green indicators (About 5 for 2000 found sources) though it may take a while for it to happen.

@ admins/project leaders.
Can i sticky this up in here?

EDIT: Other things i have spotted is that my on queue number seems to have dropped massively. Its set to 5000, but is around 2000 now. Runtime is nearly 2 days, and havent unshared anything today but have many ??? in on queue.

For 8hrs my speed has been slow throughout [with only an occasion bump], looking at the indicators for QR progress they look normal, so it may be difficult to spot this without it remaining black.

@reanimated : Perhaps your isp has a hand in this slowdown?, ie blocking ports etc etc

I dont think they are because wouldnt it affect me all the time?
I switch between port 80 and 4662 at times depending on whether i have server connection issues [sometimes most servers are dead or timeout so i try port 80, but 4662 still works fine] and the slowdown usually occurs after a few hours.

After posting last message i restarted my mule, and im hitting 75KB again, so another reason why i dont think it is.

Á friend of mine as me also are having speed problems with ed2k lately. He switched to kamedlia but the speed is the same, so I believe there should be a problem in the net. sad.gif

But if there is a definite problem somewhere on the net, it should have affected quite a lot more people than only a few.

Same problem for me and for 2 friends of mine. And there are also some details that could lead to this on some french forums. And always the same symptoms: very low download with eMule Plus, and when the user starts a official-derived version, the download rate speeds up to 50kB/s just after the startup of this version, as if eMule Plus didn't use the credits, and they accumulate huh.gif

how long did it stay low? if it was for an hour or two than for longer periods (4-5hrs + of extremely slow speeds) then it was possibly normal.

@ reanimated

Yeah I think could be normale too, but I've noticed also something other. My client every 10 minutes change server, jumping from one to an other...it's doing the same also in this moment.

smile.gif no problem with the translation, its pretty generic and understandable.

If this server reconnection happens all the time then its pretty bug related , but if it doesnt probably aint. Try connecting to a bigger server, or a different one to make sure.

Running it for 2 days and 1 hour now and don't have any speed bumps, only the connections seem a bit low for 30+ downloads:

The upload is set at 10 kb/s instead of the 20 kb/s which it normally is but that should not matter.
