I'm wondering if Emule plus comes with ip filtering? Does it automaticly turn on, or do you have to turn it on through the preferences menu? This post has been edited by mob: Oct 24 2006, 04:19 |

Preferences>advanced>security.
You need to enable the feature, than keep the IPFilter, dat updated - once a week is fine. We don't support other names or formats (eg. zipped), so if your IPFilter site gives you something other than IPFilter.dat, please download separately, unzip as needed, then rename the file to ipfilter.dat, and finally replace the old one in the emule\config folder with the new one. The new ipfilter will be taken up on the next start of the client. |
