Operating System:

Don't know

A mate of mine has just installed emule. After a few weeks of successful d/ls,the following happened. He minimised emule to his system tray and left his PC for a while. When he returned, emule had left the system tray but it would not open no matter which method he used.

He uninstalled it and did a reinstall. This problem has now happened again.

Any suggestions?

* Can't restore from the system tray or system tray icon disappeared: execute emule.exe restore command in eMule Plus directory or type <path>emule.exe restore in the 'Run' box in Windows, where <path> is a full path to emule.exe on your drive.

Also check your power saving settings, as they are the likely to cause this issue.

Thanks a lot.

Where will I find the directory so that I can execute the restore command?

Find the shortcut you normally use to start eMule Plus. Right click and select properties. You'll find the path there.
