DonkeyServer No6 (62.241.53.4:4242) appears to be dead. Can't connect to any (default) server. How I can solve this? Any ideas? Just installed eMule. No-one (6+2)server is working. Why they're here? Updates also failed. From (default): http://corpo.free.fr/server.met http://ocbmaurice.no-ip.org/pl/slist.pl/se...server-good.met Can You give me, please, some URL to download server list. Thank You. You may use http://peerates.net/servers.php . Peerates provides a great deal of interesting information about the ed2k network so you may want to visit their website too.

One weird thing I noticed recently is that eDonkey server No.2 [212.63.206.35:4242] (which I've been using for years now) seems to have stopped answering my search queries.
I can connect and do get sources for downloading files, but once I start a (global) search, there's no search progress bar and no results (and the search never ends, I have to click Cancel). Can anybody confirm? |

Just connected to it with aMule and tried a local and a global search and got the same result as you. This is also confirmed by Peerates which classifies it as a fake, no source server (more information on other servers here).
Looks like you'll have to switch to a fully functional server. |

Thank you for confirming!
Very strange, as this server is the one with by far the most users, and IIRC it used to be one of the most stable and reliable servers for years... |

I have the same. The fact that the search cannot finish (to continue with remote requests) is our issue. I guess, the code is written in a way that the server you're connected to should always reply, but it doesn't... timeout processing is missing. Can anybody confirm? |

Hello, Can you try configuring the TCP MTU to 1400 on your network card ? I had the same problem as you and that fixed it. metatech |
