I would like to have two emules running on the same machine. I know what you're thinking: why? The answer is simple. One will be a service with capped upload and no download to help spread around my releases. This service will not interact with the desktop.

The second will be one I can use to download the occasional file with. Please don't tell me this is a stupid idea. Just let me know if it will work smile.gif

Thanks all.

Hum, but doing that (if it's possible) will make your downloads pretty hard because your credits will be low.

What the problem with one single client ?

You can run two instances as long as they are installed to different locations on your hdd, only one instance can take edonkey links....

You must enable "multiple instances"
