> Why can't I connect to any servers?

Can someone please tell me why I cannot connect to any servers? It always says "connection failed" or "timed out" or "got low ID" or "appears to be full" or "appears to be dead" or something similar. I have Norton Internet Security, which may be preventing access, I am not sure. If someone can help me out I would be very appreciative smile.gif.

Well, I don't want to turn it off in case I get a Trojan Virus or something smile.gif.

You can safely turn it off.
If you get a trojan, NIS probably won´t help you anyway wink.gif
(if the trojan is at least a little intelligent)

Use Pestpetrol or Spybot or and a good antivirus tool to keep your system clean, but not a software firewall.

You can use emuleplus and NIS together. I'm using it for a year now without problems.

Allow emuleplus in NIS to use the internet, and add rules for the ports you are using in emuleplus, too. Don't forget, every update of emule you must allow internet connection for it in NIS once more (NIS is checking checksums of the files for allowing internet connection).

It doesn't ask? Black Ice will ask you the first time a process with a new checksum tries to make an Internet connection.

So are you saying Norton Internet Security is a waist of money sad.gif? Also, as Sleepy stated, Norton Internet Security incorporated a Firewall and an Anti-Virus smile.gif.
