i have what i suspect is a fake file
checked it out using file donkey fake search brought back result same file name just(found via file donkey)but verified true file same size etc opened file detailes and changed the name to the real file name found viaa file donkey fake search but the hash is not changed therefore leaving the corrupt part and finish dl from legit file source is it possible to change the current hash or just start dl allover again much appreciateddonkey friends |

Not sure what you mean here. If you did a fake search from eMule, it was done using the hash that you're using. If you did it by manually by file name on the site then the file that you found is a different file and you have to start over from scratch.

The file hash represents the file's content. So you cannot change it. Only the file name can be changed.
