upload is WAAAAAAAAAY to high set.. you need extra bandwith for the overhead(asking for sources and communication) set it to 10 or even 9. You can download at a max of 27 as i know from experience.. that means i'd even set it to 7 or 8 since you won't miss it on download speed (devider of 4.. so upload set to 7 would mean a total downloadspeed of 28kbps allowed)
every other setting is good enough.. but keep an eye on the sources per file.. (about 300 with less then 8 files and 200 with more then 8..) |

I also have 128 kbit/s upload capacity, and I set my upload limit to 10 - 12.
But itīs important that you do not have to many (overall) sources, since the more sources you have, the higher your overhead is. (rule of thumb: 1000 source ~ 1 kb/s upload overhead) |

If i change the max connections? Do you know a setting for an adsl 256/128? I have it set at 160 in 5 sec 20. |

IMO max connections should be higher.

How many overall sources do you have ?
Well, I use 2000/200 without problems on my old P3/1GHz system with a 600/128 cable connection without router. |

You canīt directly change the number of overall sources, but you can either reduce the number of active download or the max.sources per file setting (since the number of overall sources is the result of those 2 values (and the availability of your downloads of course)).

Changed The number of overall sources...no result after 3hours....
Does it have to do with the servers? (lugdunum) and the priority that the give to certain p2p programs? |

try this:
400 sources per file. 400 max connections 20 per 5 sec Check limitless download 11 for upload Give it a day. Check out the sticky "common topics" for other things you can do. |

Make that 8 for upload, ADSL is known to have a bit more overhead then cable for the connection itself.. a little problem with the used protocols (PPoA/PPoE) so keep that in mind.. that means 11 is a bit high...

its simply a matter of trial and error. Use what works best. Give it more than 3hrs though IMO.

Setting max con 200 in 5 sec 20 max sources per file 400 and upload limit 12 kb seems to have solved my problem :up/dn ratio almost 1.I have test it for 30hours.
Thanks!!! |

Hmm you may still be uploading too much If you find the internet is slow with these settings (ie slow webrowsing etc etc) try lowering upload further. You should see donwload speeds increase further. |

I set 256 connection max, 20 in 5 sec. 128/128 Bandwidth. 10 Kb ul limit set. Limitless dl set.
Dl's take all my bandwidth. Simply try downloading many files simultaneously. |
