The UI is doing alot more work now. P2P apps and games are all CPU hogs. Unless you've got a really fast machine you won't be able to run both without interference.

Fewer features = less CPU intensive. You can't have everything.

Well, the main purpose of eMule Plus isn't a speedy plain client but a fancy one. This needs CPU and if you don't have is better you find another client. wink.gif

Ohhh... you can set the main process priority (general preferences) to high. That should help not having problems with lose of speed but your game might lack some responsiveness.

Morevit it's time you throw away your old and rusty PII 350Mhz!
I don't have problems playing a game while having eMule at high priority. Having an Athlon XP 1700. smile.gif

I don't play games on the PII tongue.gif I'm just using it because I can leave it running eMule 24 hours a day without interfering with my real work on my 1Ghz machine. I priced out some new machines yesterday. Looks like it's going to cost at least $2000 for a machine that will satisfy me sad.gif Gonna be a long time before I can spend that kind of money again on luxuries.

Heh. It's SYRUS with the rusty PII 350. My backup machine is the rusty PII 300 biggrin.gif
