Hi all,

Just 2 quick questions:

I'm about to re-format my HD (gulp! unsure.gif ) and was wondering

1) which emule files I should save beforehand to keep my and everyone elses credit intact...

2) can I save (and then replace after re-formatting) the "temp" and "config" folders so as not to lose my prefs and half finished D/Ls?

Thanks in advance, FE

1) files in "config" subfolder. But if you want -- then keep whole eMule folder -- after reformatting/reinstalling just copy it back (no need to install it again);
2) yes.

eMule does not makes any changes in Windows Registry (except handling ed2k links which you can restore later after reformatting/reinstall) and can be safely moved across PC's HDD.

Just don't forget to point to the new "temp" and "incomming" folders location if you changed/modified partitions -- since paths for those folders in eMule are absolute.
