When I go to a sharereactor type sites with links to various files and I select the link I get an error message saying there is not a program associated with that file type - go to fold options and create an association.
They used to work but now they don't I'm using v1K. I tried reinstalling it and it doesn't do anything, so I down loaded edonkey and now when I select those linke it opens and begins the transfer. I looked through the fold associations to try and modify it so it would go to emule but haven't been able to find it or create one that works. Can anyone help me? Thank you... |

Done, but I still have a question. I've deleted the key but I don't understand what #5 means. Where is preferences? I didn't sse it from the regedit area or the control panel area. Thanks!
Clicking links on ED2K link sites doesn't work. It just pops up a window saying its not associated with any program, what do I do Click the "ED2K links" button in the General tab from Preferences. If it still doesn't work try the following: 1. Click Start -> Run 2. Type regedit 3. Find the pathway "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ed2k" 4. Delete this key 5. Open preferences (button should be enabled again) and click it |

open the preferences, on the General / General you should now have a button "ED2K Links" just click on it and it should be alright |
