Norman Virus Control has a module called Norman Internet Protection (NIP) which is inserted into winsock processes through NIPHK.DLL. This module causes random crashes especially during intensive network activity. You can reduce maximum connections to a value below 64 but we don't recommend it as it's reducing eMule Plus performance.

If you encounter eMule Plus crashes and have Norman Virus Control installed, we recommend to disable Norman Internet Protection module.

Thanks everyone who sent us crash dumps and SyruS for investigating the problem.

Panda Titanium 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware Install and Forget Simplicity $49.95

I decided to revise this thread and turn it into some kind of warning, as there are still companies that claim money for instable software they spread...

This time we received a crash dump in these components PAVLSP.DLL, PAVTRC.DLL and ICL_CFG.DLL, which were parts of Panda Titanium 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware.

Again thanks everyone who sent us crash dumps and SyruS for investigating the problem.

NVidia Nforce Network Access Manager (NVidia Firewall)

NVAPPFILTER.DLL which is a part of this product causes crashes to eMule Plus, as well as to other network applications.
You need to uninstall the NVidia Firewall and/or run eMule Plus only on one CPU (not tested by us -- it was found on other forums) to achieve that open Task Manager (press Ctrl-Shift-Esc), select the Processes tab. Right-click emule.exe and click set affinity. Then uncheck one of the cpus and click OK.

Thanks everyone who sent us crash dumps and KuSh for investigating the problem.
