Hi I just made the upgrade form version 1n to 1o and do not run.
I made the logical upgrade common archives and later the full one in another directory in both cases I got the same problem: CODE
I change to version 1n and no problem, it is running. I change ports, but controlled at emule and router otherwise emule 1n would not work and goes FINE. I have a P3 Intel 512 Ram Windous 2000 Sp4 ISP Auna, webstar router wifi. Emule configuration tried with the default one at 1o (but changed ports ;-) at normal installation and my perosnal connection that works fine with 1n ports 6734-6746 transfers down: 30 // 10 up: 18 // 15 .but the problem is that do not CONNECT to Intenet as it shows at log... hope it helps... by This post has been edited by cortex: Oct 18 2004, 17:04 |

Close eMulePlus. Open up your firewall settings and delete the rule that allows access to eMule.exe. Now start eMulePlus. Your firewall will ask you that eMule.exe is trying to connect, what do you want to do? Allow eMule.exe full access on all ports.
I can't stress this enough. Firewalls identify apps not just by name but also by file size, crc, etc. The good ones use MD5. Therefore, different versions of the same app are treated as different apps but in a poorly designed firewall sometimes the GUI doesn't show this. |

In my internal router firewall is at is, U do not gives program routes, it handles direct.... U do not touch anything, tha is why I tried thanks to another post to chenge emule.exe for emule1o.exe...and notihng happens... firewall: Setup Firewall - Options This page allows you to configure web page filtering and firewall protection. Filter Proxy Filter Cookies Filter Java Applets Filter ActiveX Enable Filter Popup Windows Block Fragmented IP Packets Port Scan Detection Enable Firewall Protection Enable --- and after that just port forwarding, that's all....
