ABOUT: Category Temporary Folder, Is it required? Can it be left blank?

Maybe I'm blind as a bat, but I can't seem to find "help" on temporary dirs for categories... I've searched the FM...  It doesn't seem to mention the settings of categories...  Please, can someone help  me understand everything about the temporary dirs for categories?  I wan't to know, can I leave it blank and the dir set in the main preferences be used? I seem to recal eMule+ (earlier versions) did NOT work that way.  Similarly, can I also leave the Category Download dir blank, to use the default from main preferences. |

Actually, I just answered the question myself. I had cleared the download dir from all of my Categories earlier, and just went to check on them. They were automatically restored to previous. So, for those who're looking for similar answers: if either directory/folder is left blank in the Category settings, eMule+ will set them to the dirs you have set in the main preferences. ( If I'm mistaken on this presumption, perhaps someone in charge of the FAQ/Docs should add this detail to clear all confusion. ) |
