Computer configuration:
eMule Plus version: Newest?
Using proxy: No
Firewall: Yes
CPU: 1.7GHZ
Memory: 1.5GB
Operating System: Windows XP SP2
Updated drivers
for network and video:
Yes

Okay so i downloaded emule+ the other day... i thought it was pretty nice... but anyways over the last day or so when i execute emule NOTHING happens, it does not show on my screen and i cannot use it, then my pc lags incredibly and i check task manager to see emule.exe using 85% of my CPU but its not an active process... it was fine a couple of days ago and i have not changed any settings or anything.. it just wont run... i have tried re-installing it, logging in as another user, cleared all registry entries EVEYRTHING but emule+ just refuses to work! And the most annoying thing is that i have downloads which are near completion.. and would of been completed by now if Emule+ would work like normal... i'm really hoping someone can help me out here sleep.gif thx...

1. If your e+ is being prevented from accessing the internet, it is likely to take a long time for the startup tasks like checking for latest fakelist version, etc. to time out and return control to the GUI. Be patient and wait for several minutes before giving up.

2. Delete GUI.dat from your emule\config folder and start the client.
