this is not a new feature request nor a bug but.. I didnt know where to put this report unsure.gif

On Downloads and Shared page, the submenus "Webservices" contains some entries that seem not to work anymore:

-Donkey Fakes Check file
-Donkey Fakes Report file
-Razorback's file statistics

I'd suggest to correct these entries or delete them and remind users to overwrite "Webservices.dat" too, on the next binary update happy.gif

-Donkey Fakes Check file

Works fine here. IMHO, URL has changed.

-Donkey Fakes Report file
-Razorback's file statistics

Are not part of the latest release v1.2d.

The user must clean out this on his own. Every user could store his own webservices to this file, so it's not wise/possible to override this file.

IMHO a line in the release notes/ public forum should be sufficient. Like we have done for webserver passwords.

Of course, but I called this topic "simplify" menus just to remind that simple users are not habit to manipulate configuration files, they just update from "binary.zip" so that we keep bringing on old features that are not useful anymore. Eplus is known for a more prompt and friendly GUI, so we dont just have to add and add things, but to delete useless items, too.

Obviuosly, this is just IMHO.

@Efix
As I'm not sure you understood muleteer, let me rephrase it. Your webservices.dat is very old. We update it from time to time and it is delivered with the version release. You need to update your file from v1.2d to be up-to-date as problems you reported were resolved long time ago.

oK Aw3, I got it. The only thing I remark is that, according to the readme.txt given in the binary.zip, you see:
QUOTE
- Updating from an earlier version of eMule Plus:
The best way to do this is simply to download the .zip file (not the installer),
and unzip the new eMule.exe, .tmpl files and webserver directory to your old
  directory, overwriting the previous ones.

thats why I, and most of the users, kept old webservice.dat sad.gif

Thanks all anyway rolleyes.gif

That can be updated. Thanks for pointing at.
