1. assign fixed internal IP address to each computer.
2. forward the ports for each eMule client to the IP address of the computer on which it is running.

More detailed help is available at http://www.portforward.com
Note: this is a free site, but there are some advertising links that offer paid software.

Were you getting HighID on both clients before you upgraded to 1.2d? If so, then that is a different issue. Check that the ports forwarded in your router are the same ones that are being used by the respective clients. Also, delete the rules for emule.exe in your firewall on each computer and when the firewall asks you again, allow emule.exe to connect to the internet and accept connections from the internet.

thanks muleteer,

you wrote :

my computer have fixed ip-addresss. i use more then the 2 computer with emule-clients

i set set my forwarding rules to the computers with the emule clients to the used ports

the problem is the same with firewall and without firewall. i will tested to delete the firewall-rule for emule.

Can you post screenshots of the rules that you have made in your router configuration? You need 4 rules, two for each computer.

(open router config to relevant page showing the rules, press 'print screen' on your keyboard, open any graphics program, even MSPaint, paste from clipboard, save as jpg, upload to http://imageshack.us/, copy paste link here).

Is there any other hardware between your computer and the internet? If the modem, for example, has a router built in, that has to be configured as well.

Also be sure both clients use different user hashes.

Hi Wolle, i`m a german user too.
You wrote, that you do not use any firewall.Try to find out, that the internal windows
firewall is not activated. If it should be activated you have the choice in the adjustments to let emule open the corresponding ports of the internal firewall in the
menue connections.
My experience with emule is,that if you get connection to a server(which is probably
the greatest problem) than Low-ID or High-ID depends more on the time you are
connected to any server.I hope ,this will help a bit.

Hmm.. dheeraj from Germany? unsure.gif Isn't Dheeraj an Indian name? wink.gif

Another thing to remember is that Windows networking sometimes does funny things. A momentary network glitch can occasionally release bindings in such a manner that the network doesn't recover until the computer is restarted. Also, some routers do not apply changed settings until the new configuration has been saved and power cycled to the router.
