my guess would be that your router can't handle much connections...

Ah that could b possible, im actually not using a router as im directly connected to the internet but i do use the internet connection firewall, i have opened the ports on this but i guess as its a microsoft version that is the most likely cause. Dang o well thanks anyway biggrin.gif

I think the problem is with emule bandwidth limiter.
I have the same problem , when i download something from net when i am running emule (it steals my bandwidth).
I can't eaven run games on other mashine while running emul and not getting lag.

Make sure your not uploading too much, whats your line connection and upload speeds in emule set at?

i think this problem deserve a bit of attention i noticed that too!
while 1i is running, other internet traffic is dramatically slow (with download BW far from its limit). just to give all info: absolutely nothing changed on my pc except for 1h to 1i.

if the team can investigate, i would appreciate it! smile.gif

i hav a 512k line thats 512 down and 256 up, have my limits set to 50 d/l and 10 u/l thought this shud b fine, it only seems to do it now wen i run emule and mIRC smile.gif

Actually even 20 or more kb/s upload limit shouldn´t be a problem on a 256 kbit/s upstream line.

whats your found sources and per 5 sec value?

Erm how do i find those out? huh.gif
reanimated838uk
preferences/connections for the per 5 sec value, and stats for "found sources".
If the values are very high, then your connection is probably been used excessively.
Pasty901
The 5 sec value is set at 20, found sources is 3635.

Anything i can do about this at all?

Cheers for your help btw smile.gif
reanimated838uk
hmmm, that sounds reasonable for your upload and download speeds.
I'v got the same per 5 sec value and usually more or less @ 2000-4000 found sources.

I'm out of ideas here. Have you tried with a different version?
Pasty901
Yer it seems to be the case with every version, no worries, i normally run it on another computer through a router so i dont notice anything just im home for christmas and havin to run it on mine, only a couple more weeks tho so i can survive! biggrin.gif
