Hey i hav a rather strange problem, basically wen i run emule my chat clients, in particular mIRC and yahoo keep reconnecting, it seems emule steals the bandwidth from them, ive limited the downloads and uploads speeds but it dus it even wen nuthing is downloading :-/ dunno if i can do anything about it but its kinda annoying, no worries if it cant be helped
my guess would be that your router can't handle much connections...

Ah that could b possible, im actually not using a router as im directly connected to the internet but i do use the internet connection firewall, i have opened the ports on this but i guess as its a microsoft version that is the most likely cause. Dang o well thanks anyway

I think the problem is with emule bandwidth limiter.
I have the same problem , when i download something from net when i am running emule (it steals my bandwidth).
I can't eaven run games on other mashine while running emul and not getting lag.

i think this problem deserve a bit of attention i noticed that too!
while 1i is running, other internet traffic is dramatically slow (with download BW far from its limit). just to give all info: absolutely nothing changed on my pc except for 1h to 1i.
if the team can investigate, i would appreciate it!

Actually even 20 or more kb/s upload limit shouldn´t be a problem on a 256 kbit/s upstream line.

Erm how do i find those out?

preferences/connections for the per 5 sec value, and stats for "found sources".
If the values are very high, then your connection is probably been used excessively.

The 5 sec value is set at 20, found sources is 3635.
Anything i can do about this at all?
Cheers for your help btw

hmmm, that sounds reasonable for your upload and download speeds.
I'v got the same per 5 sec value and usually more or less @ 2000-4000 found sources.
I'm out of ideas here. Have you tried with a different version?

If enabled, disable "Leave remote queue if QR > y".
