i get a message
| CODE |
| A hardware I/O error was reported while accessing C:\Program Files\eMule\Temp\002.part. |
i seem to be getting this on files larger then about 300MB when they get to about 300MB-400MB
when i try to restart them emule+ tells me that it cant open them.
to get it to restart i have to close emule+ and then it happens again when there is more to the download
seems like a hardware fault.!?
either your hdd really has bad blocks/sectors... -> drive fitness test
or your filesystem (fat/ntfs what isit?) maybe corrupt... ->scandisk/chkdsk
i can also imagine that some antivirus may have locked the file during writing...
u may inspect file-accessing with filemon from sysinternals.
more details of your system are needed.
and by the way: how is this message presented (popup or what) and what is it's title?

couldn't find the message in current sourcecode. which version are u using?
when e+ is closed edit preferences.ini and set following values:
| QUOTE (preferences.ini) |
[eMule] Verbose=1 LogToFile=1 BugReport=1 CMNotLog=1 |
start e+ and when it happens again, open debug.log and search for "exception"
...syrus
