to add timer in here rolleyes.gif

ps: i always wanted to know "for how long i'm downloading from that guy with a speed of 0.5KB/s" whistling.gif
ps2: we can also add a timer for 'Queue Full' status instead of '-'
DopeFish
so what you all think about this? please leave your comments

Are you asking for another column?
Sometimes the transfer pauses for a few seconds and then resumes. This is specially true for trickle slots. In such cases the '-' in the waiting column changes to a wait counter after about 15 seconds, and reverts to the '-' when the next block of data comes in. The space therefore is already in use, not wasted as one might expect.
I really don't think a request for another column will go down very well with the devs tongue.gif biggrin.gif We need to be a bit more creative, maybe like a +/- sign before the time to differentiate between waiting and transferring. Bit of a problem with the pauses, though: when more data comes in, should the transfer time start from zero, or should it continue from where it left off?

no, not another column. no way! laugh.gif just wanted to replace '-' with a timer, while transfer in progress
DonGato
Maybe renaming the column to "Elapsed" and using red for waiting and green for transferring?!

Good idea, but I would leave waiting time in black.

Well, it's the same for me as I won't use it. tongue.gif

BTW, can we also add a timer for 'Queue Full' status instead of '-'

ps: is it normal behavior that I spend 8 hours in a 'queue full' status of some other guy queue and after, status changed to 'black 5'. should it be 'green 5' instead? and of course waiting timer started countdown from "0", but I think that timer should continue to count 'waiting' time.
I was waiting, you know...

what about this one? whistling.gif

I like the suggestions in this thread. Another one is: I'd like to know how much data a source has transferred to me in the current download session (at present all we can see is how much data has been transferred in the currently running e+ session, so if a client is transferring data more than once, we don't know).
These stats are needed because:
1. Some clients stop transferring after a given time (say 1 hour).
2. Most clients upload a limited amount of data in each download session. Nice to know when they are expected to stop.
DopeFish
just wanted to remind 'bout this topic. maybe one of you (devs) will have a spare minute to implement this feature into our client. rolleyes.gif
thnx.

Don't worry, I still remember that...
