Hi i downloaded what i thoought was to be the latest emule which was the ++ version, but then got banned for leeching and aggressive user. After reading the user FAQs and support i removed ++ and replace with emuleplus and i still have a low id and im getting banned.
I have change my nick so it doesnt state ++, i have set my router(netgear 834g)to recieve incoming outgoing on ports 4662 4672
My uploading is fine at 23 but downloading is now non existent.
any ideas where im going wrong??

Full Version: Emule amatuer having trouble
Our client does not necessarily use the default ports that other clients use. Check which ports are actually being used and forward them accordingly.
Preferences->Connection->Connection:Clientport
Preferences->Connection->Web Server: General.
Close the client, delete the rule for emule.exe in your firewall, then start the client. When the firewall asks you, allow emule.exe full access, thus making a fresh set of rules in the firewall.
You may need to reboot after doing this for the change to work.
